Summary

Lesson Log does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The lessons, notes, payments, and contacts you enter are stored only on your iPhone. We have no servers that receive your data, no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.

What the app stores on your device

To do its job, the app keeps the following on your device, in the app's private storage:

This information never leaves your device unless you choose to export it (see below). We cannot see it, and we do not receive a copy.

Notifications and widget

Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone using Apple's notification system. They are not sent from a server. The Home Screen and Lock Screen widget reads a small summary of your upcoming lessons from storage shared between the app and its widget on the same device. If you deny notification permission, the app still works, but without reminders.

Backups and exports you create

The app can create a backup file or a CSV export of your data. These files are created only when you ask, and you decide where they go, such as Files, AirDrop, or email, using the standard iOS share sheet. Once you share a file, it is handled by the service or person you chose, under their terms and privacy practices, not ours. We do not receive these files.

No third parties

The app contains no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking software, does not make network requests to send your data anywhere, and does not require you to sign in. We do not sell or share personal information.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual lessons, students, coaches, or packages in the app, or remove everything by deleting the app from your iPhone. Because we hold no copy, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If you saved a backup or export file elsewhere, delete that file separately.

Children

The app is not directed at children and has no accounts. Because it collects no personal information, it does not collect any from children. Parents and guardians may use it to keep records of their children's lessons; that information remains on the parent's device.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or port from us; you control all of it directly in the app. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, for example by adding optional sync, we will update this page and the effective date, and describe the change in the app's release notes.
